Week thirty four August 19th - August 26th

Don't forget your plants when you go away on holiday. Put the end of some capillary matting in a sink of water and drape the other end over the draining board. Stand the plants on top of the matting and they will absorb water by capillary action. If you are not going on holiday consider planting some bulbs - daffodils outside, or in pots, for the garden and prepared hyacinths for indoors at Christmas.
