Week thirty two August 5th - August 12th
Take cuttings of your favourite fuchsias, geraniums and shrubs. Water and mow the lawn. Daffodil bulbs will be available in the shops at any time now and an early August planting will pay dividends next spring. Summer prune the apple trees if you haven't already done it. Sow Japanese onions this week. Plant out leeks in any ground that becomes available.
